COVID Care
December 2021 - April 2022
For our initiative, Project Covid-Care, we wanted to give back to our community and focus on an
issue that many people have been influenced by recently. After conducting some research, we learned
about the impact of Covid-19 on homeless people and their mental health. The COVID-19 pandemic
negatively affects Canada's homeless population due to the increased environmental and medical
vulnerability, including their lack of access to preventive care and treatment. Our mission is to provide
enough packages so that the homeless youth in our community can have resources that will help them
through these difficult times. We will do this by delivering covid-care packages to homeless youth
shelters in our vicinity. We hope to give the youth of Ontario encouragement and let them know that we
are there for them during these times.
